Virtual form of RuPay card on anvil

After launching the RuPay debit card, National Payments Corp (NPCI) is set to come out with its virtual form in the next few months, a move that will give further push to smartphone—based transactions.
“We are planning to go for pilot of a virtual RuPay card over the next 4—5 months,” NPCI Managing Director and Chief Executive said here today.
NPCI is the nodal agency for all retail payment systems under the Jan Dhan scheme.
Under the virtual form, there will be no need of a physical card and a transaction can be done with the help of the 16—digit number alone.
The initiative will enable all account—holders send and receive money from their smartphones with a single identifier which may include the Aadhaar number, mobile number or virtual payment address without entering any bank account information.
Average value of the card payment system per head as on date was Rs. 1,500 and an average remittance stands at Rs. 2,500. Under the new virtual system, the amount would be much less and may include school fee and grocery payments, he said.
The proposed payments banks are likely to provide this virtual card facility from the beginning, Hota said. “The specifications standards are now available for payments banks and hence it is a great opportunity for them.”
Around Rs. 8,000 crore worth of transactions are taking place through IMPS (immediate payment service) per month. What we are doing now is just putting another extra layer on the already existing system so as to make transaction easier, Hota explained.
Currently, only around 20 per cent of the total transactions are happening through IMPS and hence NPCI is working on further simplification of the facility so as to make it more popular in future, he added.
Talking about authentication system for the virtual RuPay card, former Chairman of UIDAI Nandan Nilekani said “with everybody having cellphones, going forward the single— factor authentication can be the cellphone, replacing the physical cards.”

Something About 4G Technology

Hello viewers am back after a long gap...here I wish to share something about the upcoming 4G Technology in Mobile Communication.

4G also called as Fourth-Generation Communications System, is a term used to describe the next step in wireless communications. A 4G system can provide a comprehensive IP solution where voice, data and streamed multimedia can be provided to users on an "Anytime, Anywhere" basis. The data transfer rates are also much higher than previous generations.

The main objectives of 4G are:

1)4G will be a fully IP-based integrated system.

2)This will be capable of providing 100 Mbit/s and 1 Gbit/s speeds both indoors and outdoors.

3)It can provide premium quality and high security.

4)4G offer all types of services at an affordable cost.

4G is developed to provide high quality of service (QoS) and rate requirements set by forthcoming applications such as wireless broadband access, Multimedia Messaging, Video Chat, Mobile TV, High definition TV content, DVB, minimal service like voice and data, and other streaming services.

4G technology allow high-quality smooth video transmission. It will enable fast downloading of full-length songs or music pieces in real time.

The business and popularity of 4Gmobiles is predicted to be very vast. On an average, by 2009, this 4Gmobile market will be over $400B and it will dominate the wireless communications, and its converged system will replace most conventional wireless infrastructure.

Data Rates For 4G:

The downloading speed for mobile Internet connections is from 9.6 kbit/s for 2G cellular at present. However, in actual use the data rates are usually slower, especially in crowded areas, or when there is congestion in network.

4G mobile data transmission rates are planned to be up to 20 megabits per second which means that it will be about 10-20 times faster than standard ASDL services.

In terms of connection seeds, 4G will be about 200 times faster than present 2G mobile data rates, and about 10 times faster than 3G broadband mobile. 3G data rates are currently 2Mbit/sec, which is very fast compared to 2G's 9.6Kbit/sec.

Ways To get moistured Hands

Our hands are one the most used body parts of our body that we have next to our feet. We do nearly everything with our hands, we eat, cook, put our clothes on, wash them, wash dishes, type on our computer keyboards and many other things throughout our busy days. While we don't all suffer from dry hands, many of us do.

Many people that suffer from dry hands do so because they wash their hands several times a day, or they live in dry climates, although these are not the only reasons.

There are many ways that you can protect the skin of your hands and keep their skin soft and supple. Here are some tips for taking care of dry hands.

1. Drink adequate water. Like most skin care rules this is one of the first things you should remedy if you haven't been doing so already. Skin in order to stay healthy and supple needs a certain amount of water taken internally to be able to maintain a healthy glow. Drink at least 2 liters a day to maintain healthy skin.

2. You can also take one tablespoon of olive oil or flaxseed oil internally each day. While not a proven treatment, some claim that it helps to keep your skin supple and healthy.

3. Another thing that you can do to keep your hands from getting dried out is to wash your hands and then dry them until the skin is still slightly damp. Damp skin absorbs moisturizers better. Apply 100% aloe vera gel to your hands and then cover with white cotton gloves over night.

4. Avoid washing your hands with dish soap, and avoid exposing your hands to other heavy duty household cleansers, especially ones containing bleach products. Instead get those disposable rubber gloves and cover your hands when you have to wash dishes, clean the bathroom, or any other job where you'll be using these harsher cleansers.

5. Use a moisturizing hand soap when you need to wash your hands. Be sure and have either a bar or bottle of the soap at every place that you would normally wash your hands, that way you won't be tempted to use dish soap for example. It costs a little more but it's worth it.

6. If the air in your home is dry, consider getting a humidifier. This will help to keep all your skin not just your hands from drying out. Electric heat and even floor fans can contribute to dry skin.

7. When you do wash your hands only wash them in lukewarm water. Hot water can help to contribute to dry hands and even lead to itchy, scratchy skin if used with drying soaps.

8. Coat your hands with a thin layer of Vaseline petroleum jelly and then pull on cotton socks or cotton gloves and wear overnight. This will add considerable moisture to your skin, and the cotton socks or gloves help your skin to breathe. In the morning pat off excess Vaseline with a cloth or tissue. This treatment also works for rough dry feet!
 9. If you don't want to use Vaseline petroleum jelly on your hands, consider taking a needle and pricking Vitamin E capsules then rubbing the Vitamin E into your hands. This will help both to moisturize your hands and to heal any cracks as well.

Our hands are probably are most used body parts so it's important to take good care of them. These fast and inexpensive treatments will help you to keep your hands healthy!
