Bhavana reveals about her role in ASAL
In spite of her cherubic looks and good potential, actress Bhavana is still running out of offers. Although, the young actress had openly conveyed the message that she’s ready to don glamorous roles, nothing seems to have clicked for her.Now, she has mounted all her hopes on Ajith Kumar starrer “ASAL’ slated to hit screens on February 5.Recently, there were rumors that the film features Bhavana as Ajith’s sister while Bollywood actress Sameera Reddy has got more prominence. Apparently, the actress denies the rumor saying that she plays Ajith’s ladylove and has got couple of songs with him as well.Bhavana also admits that though she had turned down many Bollywood offers but assures that she’ll make her debut shortly.

It’s time for Sameera Reddy to do Charlize Theron’s act of “Aeon Flux’. Sameera Reddy, the Bollywood hottie who made her debut in Tamil film industry with “Vaaranam Aayiram’ will be performing breathtaking stunts in Ajith Kumar’s “ASAL’.Speaking to media about her experience in Tamil film industry, the actress says that she has got more friends over in Chennai now. Indeed, the lady has become closer with her co-stars Ajith Kumar and Bhavana as they’ve been working together for past 6 months.
Sharing more about her role in “ASAL’, Sameera sums up saying that she has got a meaty role to perform, which is completely in contrast to her role in “Vaaranam Aayiram’. The actress seems to have performed some risky stunts without going for dupes.
Suresh to play baddie in ‘ASAL’
Yesteryear actor Suresh, who made his debut with “Panneer Pushpangal’ in early 80s makes his comeback as a baddie in Ajith Kumar’s upcoming film “ASAL’. Earlier, the actor had tried his luck donning villain role in Srikanth-Bhavana starrer “Kizhaku Kadarkarai Saalai’ that left him unnoticed. But, the actor is overwhelmed with Saran’s offer since his characterization is as powerful as the protagonist.
Suresh has performed lead roles in more than 200 films in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam. Says Suresh: “My father Gopinath inspired me a lot to get into film. I am very much elated with director Saran approaching me to perform such a powerful role…”Suresh will be spotted with a bald look for this film starring Ajith, Sameera Reddy and Bhavana in lead roles. The film is produced by Prabhu and Ram Kumar of Sivaji Productions.
Ajith Kumar pairing with Shammu?
Actress Shammu made her debut in Kollywood with K.S. Ravikumar’s “Dasavatharam’, in which she played Kamal Haasan’s colleague in the scientific research lab. Now it’s been heard that she has been offered a film by actor Ajith Kumar.Some of her closer sources just leaked the news that actor Ajith Kumar has offered Shammu to play female lead role in his next film.”“But later, it was confirmed that that was just a baseless rumor fabricated by the closer circuit of actress to turn the focus on her , since she hasn’t got any offers now.Well, the actress was lucky as she was offered to play female lead in Jeevan’s “Mayilu’. As the film’s producer Prakash Raj witnessed her profound performance, he recommended her for Priyadarshan’s National award winning film “Kanchivaram’.Of course, Shammu was the one, who donned the role of Prakash Raj’s daughter in this film. Apparently, the actress bagged couple of offers – Karan’s “Malayan’ and “Maathiyosi’.
